Programs that conduct tests which evaluate the electrical system of the heart to detect abnormal or irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias) which include tachycardia (when the heart beats too fast), bradycardia (when the heart beats too slowly) and conditions in which the heart skips a beat or has an extra beat.
