Definition
Programs that provide information and guidance in a variety of settings for individuals who have left a job or career for a period of time and are now ready to return to the workforce. Many reentry programs target people who have worked in a particular industry (e.g., the tech sector), for a particular company (e.g., General Motors, IBM) or are at a point in their lives where going back to work is a feasible option (e.g., women who have left the workforce to raise a family and are now ready to return; individuals with a disability who are again able to work).
