Programs that accept and, where possible, attempt to resolve complaints regarding fraudulent transactions or other problems with online auction sites or live auctions. Complaints may relate to the safety of allowable payment methods, ineffective privacy and security measures. questions about the legitimacy of items being sold, inclusion of stolen goods among sales items, the presence of shills to drive up the bidding, non-delivery of purchased items or substitution of a less valuable version of item, lack of provisions for resolution of disputes or other inappropriate business practices of auctioneers.
