Programs that provide information, advice or access to necessary forms for individuals who do not wish to receive unsolicited advertising and who want to file a request that their names, addresses and/or telephone numbers be removed from the mailing, telephone or other lists purchased or compiled by organizations that market products and services through these channels. Also included are organizations that accept and follow up on complaints regarding organizations that refuse to accede to appropriately filed consumer requests for removal.
