Organizations that are actively seeking individuals with the requisite skills and experience who are willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to provide weatherization services that improve the energy efficiency of the homes of people who qualify for the service and protect them from the elements. Weatherization includes ceiling insulation, attic venting, double glazed windows, weather-stripping, minor housing envelope repairs, low-flow showerheads, evaporative cooler vent covers, water heater blankets, pipe wrap, duct wrap, switch and outlet gaskets, caulking, and other related energy conservation measures.
