Programs that provide consultation and technical assistance regarding the display, handling and storage of museum, library and archive materials including books, periodicals, documents, cultural artifacts, monuments, textiles, paintings, photographs, sculptures and other art pieces in a number of media; and which restore pieces which have been damaged by water, smoke, fire, smog or other elements using a variety of techniques including freeze-drying, fumigation, deodorizing, and cleaning. Also included are programs that provide preservation advice and restoration services for people who have private collections.
