Programs that help businesses, trade associations, professional associations, nonprofit organizations or other community groups that want to sponsor a local, state, regional, national or international conference, trade show or convention manage the registration of attendees and other on-site logistics. Tasks include designing a conference registration database; providing mechanisms for mail or online registration; managing registration of participants, speakers and exhibitors on-site; staffing an information desk; providing support for handling the financial aspects of registration; and serving as a liaison with all facility and supplier personnel to ensure successful operations of all facets of the event.
