Coaches/Trainers Associations

Organizations whose members are coaches of amateur, college, high school or professional athletic teams or professional instructors, coaches or trainers of individual amateur, college/university, high school or professional athletes who have affiliated to promote participation in their sport, support professional growth and development, provide a forum for making suggestions regarding rules and procedures, and gain greater recognition for their role in the sport of their choice. Activities may include establishing standards for the profession, developing certification programs for members, conducting clinics and other educational programs, facilitating the sharing of information among members, maintaining speaker's bureaus, providing placement services, supporting coaches halls of fame, and issuing distinguished service awards for contributions to the profession.
