Visas for Persons With Advanced Degrees/Exceptional Ability

Programs that assist in filing petitions for employment-based immigrant visas which allow admission, on a permanent basis, of aliens who are members of professions holding advanced degrees or their equivalent or who, because of their exceptional ability in the sciences, arts or business, will substantially benefit the national economy, cultural or educational interests, or welfare of the United States. A job offer is required and the employer must file a petition on behalf of the applicant. These requirements may be waived if such an exemption would be in the national interest.
