Radioactive Waste Regulation

Programs that are responsible for regulating the activities of organizations that transport, store and/or dispose of nuclear materials and waste or that are involved in decommissioning nuclear facilities that have been permanently shut down, i.e., reducing residual radioactivity at the site to a level that permits release of the property for unrestricted use or use under restricted conditions and termination of the site's license.
