WIC Applications/Certification

Programs that conduct evaluations to determine whether families with pregnant women and/or children younger than age five meet the eligibility criteria for the WIC program, and which issue certificates for those who qualify. In some states, WIC benefits are made available through electronic transfer benefit (EBT) cards. Also included are other programs that help people prepare and file WIC applications and/or are authorized to do eligibility determinations for the program.
