Beadwork Instruction

Programs that provide classes, individual lessons or other opportunities for people who want to learn or perfect their skills in beadwork, the art of creating beaded necklaces, earrings and other jewelry, beaded handbags, beaded embellishments to clothing and other ornamental pieces using any of a wide variety of beads and patterns. Instruction may focus on basic materials, beading techniques (e.g., loom work, square stitch, peyote stitch, brick stitch, and right angle weave), beading project ideas, types and colors of beads, storage of beads and other similar topics.
