Definition
Programs that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy tobogganing, a winter sport in which a long flat-bottomed light sled made of thin boards curved up at one end with low handrails at the sides is coasted down snow-covered slopes, usually special toboggan runs. Toboggans are made for up to four people who steer the sled by shifting their weight and dragging their feet.
