Definition
Organizations that are actively seeking individuals with the requisite skills and experience who are able and willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to use a chainsaw to fall, delimb and cut trees into logs; to assist in the removal of trees that have fallen during a windstorm or other emergency; or to accomplish other tasks. Volunteers in this position must be able to maintain the equipment and operate it safely and effectively.
