Internet Addiction Helplines

Programs that provide immediate assistance for people who are having difficulty controlling their compulsion to spend time on the Internet or are concerned about a friend or family member. May include short-term emotional support, an opportunity to ask questions and discuss alternatives, and referrals to confidential treatment services. Helpline staff are generally available via telephone, email, chat and/or text.
