Alternative Natural Gas Suppliers

Entities other than the current monopoly supplier of natural gas that sell or broker natural gas to retail or end-use customers and deliver it using the distribution lines of the local natural gas utility. Alternative suppliers may include marketers, brokers or aggregators (entities such as civic organizations, cities and towns, business associations and nonprofit organizations that bring together a group of consumers to purchase energy in bulk). Also included are organizations that make available lists of alternative natural gas suppliers.
