Programs that issue permits which provide written authorization for musicians, jugglers, mimes, magicians and other entertainers who want to set up and perform on public sidewalks, in public parks or in other areas that have been approved for this purpose. Street performers may be required to audition as a condition for obtaining a permit, and may solicit and accept donations from passersby.
