Definition
Programs that are responsible for the regular inspection of elevated, in-ground or at grade water storage facilities and for making repairs, when necessary. The most frequent types of repairs include repainting of tanks (which are generally made of steel and subject to corrosion) and replacing screens over vents and other points of access to insects, birds and rodents.
