Site Plan Review/Approval

Programs that are responsible for reviewing individual site plans for construction within a new subdivision or on parcels that have not been subdivided. Site plans address landscape and tree protection, drainage, erosion control, utilities, parking, sidewalks, disability access and details regarding existing and proposed structures (including signs, fences and dumpster locations), their type, location, use and dimensions. Depending on the jurisdiction, single and two-family homes may be exempt from site planning requirements and site plans may not be required at all if the final plat has sufficient detail.
