Karting

Programs, often offered by local kart clubs, that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn to drive miniature cars, become competitive in and enjoy the sport of karting including kart racing. Kart races are held at a variety of venues including paved ovals, dirt ovals, sprint tracks and road courses; and, in most places children age eight and older are eligible as well as adults. In some cases, special events are available for children as young as five.
