Definition
Programs that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy mountainboarding, a sport in which the individual slides down rock infested, mountainous dirt trails, some of which are used for snowboarding in the winter, riding on a device that looks like an oversized skateboard with bindings and three or four large, inflated wheels. Included are programs for novices who are interested in recreational mountainboarding and want to develop basic skills, and those for serious mountainboarders who want to develop skills necessary to become competitive in mountainboarding events.
