Evacuation Route Comfort Centers

Rest areas and weigh stations located along evacuation routes that have been designated as comfort centers for people who are forced to leave an endangered location due to a fire, hurricane or other type of emergency. In addition to normal bathroom facilities and access to water, supplies of bottled water will be available as well as ice, medical assistance and snack food such as cheese and crackers, when possible.
