Scurvy

A vitamin C deficiency disease that is characterized by the tendency to hemorrhage and abnormal formation of bones and teeth. Symptoms include loss of energy; pains in the legs, limbs and joints; anemia; weakness; spongy, bleeding gums; foul breath; loosening of the teeth; and painful hardening of the muscles.
