Provides a variety of residential programs for people experiencing substance abuse or co-occurring disorders. The programs are developed to help individuals improve their readiness to reintegrate into everyday life.

Provides homeless services for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). Services include a non-traditional outpatient unit tailored to this unique population, as well as transitional and permanent housing, as well as alcohol and drug treatment.

Provides case management service from start to finish of a client's treatment. Case managers cultivate a relationship with each client to understand the client's challenges, circumstances, and goals. This allows the case manager to recommend personalized care based on the client's clinical needs. Throughout treatment, the case manager supervises the client's progress and facilitates communication between the client, the client's family, and care professionals.

Provides comprehensive counseling and related services to children who are victims of child abuse.

Provides a variety of daytime services for adults experiencing homelessness and serious and persistent mental illness. Services offered at Valley Storefront include laundry, showers/restrooms, hygiene products, clothing, computer/internet access, referrals, a library, substance use and mental health, and SSI/SSDI enrollment.

Provides behavioral learning therapy to modify a client's behavioral without reference to introspection, mental processes, and contents, or analysis of the origins of the problem.

Provides day treatment and counseling to youth experiencing behavioral problems or mental health challenges. The program is intended to divert children toward a positive path and life outcome. Transportation and lunch are provided with each program.

Provides community-based mental health and support services tailored to the needs of older adults and seniors. The services offered help seniors lead happy, independent, productive, and socially productive lives.

Provides behavioral treatment services and programs focused on decreasing a child’s symptoms to enhance and maintain the child's functioning level. Offers specialized children’s behavioral health programs before or after school, or as a day treatment program.

Provides hundreds of housing units throughout the Salt Lake Valley to people with severe and persistent mental illness. Housing programs range from independent living situations to supervised group homes. The goal of the program is to help clients achieve and maintain stability through services such as onsite case management.

Provides substance use disorder counseling services to people experiencing addictions or co-occurring disorders. Offered at all Valley Behavioral Health locations.

Provides an evidence-based treatment program that aims to improve outcomes for individuals living with SMI, co-occurring substance use disorders, and who are at elevated risk of psychiatric crisis, involvement with the criminal justice system, and experiencing chronic homelessness.

Provides comprehensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorder and co-occurring disorders to the residents of Salt Lake County. Outpatient programs offer flexibility to clients who cannot participate in residential programs because of personal responsibilities.

Crisis intervention that supports those challenged with mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and/or co-occurring disorders. Developed to help individuals obtain services designed to improve their readiness to reintegrate into community life and decrease future involvement in the criminal justice system. Offers outpatient community mental health programs to clients on probation, parole, or who have been referred to treatment by the criminal justice system. Evidenced-based practices are utilized to assess and treat through the development of individualized treatment plans that support individuals in addressing mental health, substance use disorders, or co-occurring symptomology that allows them to maintain compliance with court-ordered recommendations and return home to society as an alternative to incarceration.

Conducts a comprehensive substance abuse evaluation to develop a personalized treatment plan to meet the client's unique circumstances.

Provides a recovery program for people who have been convicted by law enforcement of driving while under the influence. The program will help the client satisfy the treatment mandated by the court.

Provides drug and alcohol testing ordered by the courts as part of mandated substance use treatment programs. The testing is provided at all VBH locations.

Prescribes medication to clients for a full range of mental health conditions. Medication therapy is used in conjunction with mental health therapy.

Provides court-ordered evaluations for people caught driving under the influence. The evaluations are used to assess the client's needs and formulate a treatment plan.

Valley Storefront provides unsheltered adults with case management services, including driver license or government-issued ID payment assistance.

Valley Behavioral Health Storefront provides case management services, including showers to unsheltered adults.
