Odyssey House of Utah delivers youth residential treatment (RTC) services with a structured, clinically intensive model that stabilizes safety, strengthens family engagement, and supports skill development for long-term recovery. Youth in RTC participate in approximately 25 hours per week of therapeutic programming, including individual therapy, group therapy, trauma services, family therapy, and psychiatric services, alongside education support, vocational preparation, life skills development, and pro-social recreation. When authorized by DHHS, we can also serve select young adults through adult residential programming or the Parents With Children track based on clinical need and program fit. What makes Odyssey House youth RTC stand out is the intensity and structure of programming combined with practical supports that help youth stabilize and keep progressing. Youth participate in approximately 25 hours per week of therapeutic programming that includes individual and group therapy, trauma services, family therapy, and psychiatric services, alongside life skills development, education support, vocational preparation, and pro-social recreation. The program is designed to build consistent routines, strengthen coping and emotional regulation skills, and improve family engagement so gains in treatment translate into safer day-to-day functioning and more durable outcomes after discharge.
