Description

Investigates allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults. Signs of emotional and verbal abuse may be unexplained bruising, withdrawal and passivity, low self esteem, neglect such as dehydration, abandonment, malnourishment, soiled clothing, self neglect such as failure to maintain medical appointments, lack of glasses, dentures, hearing aids, exploitation such as the disappearance of possessions, overcharged home repairs, inadequate living environment, forced control of finances, little or no money for food and basic necessities.
