Description

Head Start offers several program options including preschool in a classroom setting either 3 1/2 hours a day, four days a week OR 6 hours a day to help meet the needs of working parents. Head Start also offers a Home-Based program, where a Family Educator provides weekly 1 1/2 hr visits to prenatal moms and families with children birth to three years of age. EHS families attend a socialization group twice a month. Positive, nurturing parent-child interactions are the focus of all services and activities.
