Description
A nationwide telephone relay number that connects standard (voice) telephone users with deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-challenged individuals who use relay equipment. Client calls and is connected with a Communications Assistant (CA) who will connect them to the person they want to reach. The CA relays messages between the client and the other party and then relays the other party's responses.
