Description
Provides housing to people who are inadequately housed and lack the resources to improve their situation through conventional means. If conventional means cannot be found to help, Habitat builds simple but adequate homes and sells them at no-interest and no profit. Monthly payments on the principal go into a fund for humanity which is used to build future homes. Participants can earn sweat equity on home builds, and on home repairs.
