The baby may be dropped off at a hospital that is open 24 hours a day. Leave the baby with a hospital worker with proper identification.
Description
Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of their newborn child without facing any legal consequences. Any Utah hospital, open 24 hours, is designated as Safe Haven for newborns to be dropped off safely. DCFS then places the child for immediate adoption.
