Application Process
The baby should be dropped off at a hospital open 24 hours a day. The infant should be left with a hospital worker wearing proper identification or a name badge.
Description
Utah law allows birth parents to anonymously give up custody of their newborn child without facing any legal consequences. All Utah hospitals that are open 24 hours are designated as "Safe Havens" for newborns to be dropped off safely. DCFS then places the child for immediate adoption.
