Description
In the mediation process, parties communicate their individual concerns, develop options, and reach mutually satisfactory solutions. When one party to the dispute contacts UDR, the other party is invited to mediation by the agency. A mediation will take place if the invited party is willing to mediate and would like to use the agency's services. Mediation does not replace the need for legal advice and it is helpful for parties to enter mediation with some understanding of the law. Parties are encouraged to seek independent legal counsel to understand their rights. Agency does not provide legal counsel, legal advice or legal services. Services available throughout the state via video conference.
