DUI Related Support Groups

Mutual support groups whose members are people who have been injured in an accident precipitated by a person who was under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or the spouses or partners, other family members and friends of individuals who lost their lives or were injured in such an accident. Some groups may include or be structured for people who have received a DUI citation or were responsible for accident that involved fatalities or injuries to others or in which in which they, themselves, were injured. The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; and provide emotional support, information and resources to help participants cope with the negative after effects of their ordeal.
