Organizations that are actively seeking individuals who are willing to work on a voluntary basis without remuneration to facilitate discussion between parties to a dispute to help them make their own settlement decisions or serving as arbiters (impartial third persons who are selected by the parties to a dispute or appointed by an outside body, who preside over a hearing at which both parties have an opportunity to be heard, and who issue a decision that both parties have agreed in advance to accept as final).
