General Insurance Fraud Reporting

Programs offered by state insurance commissioners offices and other similar organizations that provide a hotline, website or other mechanisms the public can use to report instances where applicants, policyholders, claimants, providers, agents or insurance company employees have made false statements or otherwise intentionally misrepresented the facts during the process of buying, using, selling or underwriting insurance. General insurance fraud programs accept reports regarding fraud related to many types of insurance rather than focusing on problems within a particular segment of the insurance industry.
