Legionnaires Disease

A severe and often fatal disease that is characterized by pneumonia, dry cough, muscle tenderness or pain and sometimes gastrointestinal symptoms. As the disease progresses, there is evidence of dysfunction of other major organs and in fatal cases there is eventual cardiovascular collapse.
