Definition
Individuals who perform any combination of light cleaning duties to keep hotel rooms and other spaces clean and orderly. Aside from cleaning and maintaining the premises, maids and housekeeping cleaners may deliver ironing boards, cribs, and rollaway beds to guests' rooms. Also included are people who have light cleaning duties in other types of commercial establishments such as hospitals and restaurants.
