For business travelers, lodging managers often schedule available meeting rooms, ensure that there are Internet connections and provide electronic equipment including computer projectors and fax machines. In small establishments, lodging managers may oversee all aspects of operations whereas in large hotels, management responsibilities are generally departmentalized. Included may be general hotel managers and assistant managers, convention services managers, front office managers and executive housekeepers.
