Deaf Driver Communication Visor Cards

Programs that provide an information card that people who are deaf or hard of hearing can clip to their car visor and use to facilitate interaction with law enforcement officers when needed. The cards include graphics and labels that the cardholder can point at to communicate that they can lip read, for example, or to indicate that they are lost or need medical help. The officer can point to icons indicating they need to see the driver's license, registration or insurance, or indicate a standard violation such as speeding.
