Organics Recycling

Programs that collect residential organic waste including a wide range of kitchen refuse such as dairy goods, fruit and vegetables, bread products, meat and fish, paper which has come into contact with food, and eggs. The material is generally placed in compostable paper bags; picked up through the municipal collection system; and composted for use in landscaping, agriculture and restoration projects.
