Definition
Facilities that provide access to unattended computer terminals called automated teller machines (ATMs) that dispense cash, accept deposits and loan payments, provide information about account balances, process account transfers and provide access to other banking services when a cardholder enters the correct PIN. ATM machines may also be used by credit cardholders to obtain cash advances.
