Cushing's Syndrome

A condition in which the adrenal cortex is abnormally active, producing physical and psychological difficulties. Symptoms include protein loss, excessive fat in the body, fatigue and weakness, osteoporosis, impotence, diabetes mellitus, skin discoloration and purplish striae on the skin.
