People Experiencing a Power Outage

People who are experiencing a sustained but temporary loss of electrical power in their area which may be due to maintenance activity, a defect in a power station, damage to a power line or other part of the distribution system, a short circuit or overloading of electrical mains. Also included are people who are experiencing a public safety power shutoff, a safety procedure utilized by electric utilities to proactively turn off power when and where conditions present an increased wildfire risk or other occurance that can threaten life and property.
