Real Estate Sales Personnel

Individuals who are involved in the sale, rental, management or appraisal of homes, apartment buildings, businesses, industrial property, agricultural property, undeveloped real estate and other types of real property. Included are real estate sales agents, brokers, appraisers and property managers. Real estate agents are usually independent sales workers who provide their services to a licensed real estate broker on a contract basis. In return, the broker pays the agent a portion of the commission earned from the agent's sale of the property. Brokers are independent businesspeople who sell real estate owned by others. They may also rent or manage properties for a fee. Appraisers inspect property to determine its fair value.
