Definition
Individuals (including owners, tenants who rent the use of the land or managers who work on a paid basis) who direct the activities of people who work in a wide variety of agricultural establishments including crop farms, dairy farms, poultry farms, livestock ranches, aquacultural operations, greenhouses, nurseries and timber tracts. They make and/or carry out production, financial and marketing decisions relating to farming/ranching operations; and may supervise planting, cultivating, harvesting and marketing activities.
