Malingering

A disorder in which the individual intentionally produces false or grossly exaggerated physical or psychological symptoms in response to external incentives, e.g., to avoid military service, work or criminal prosecution; to gain access to drugs; to gain financial compensation or to obtain support from the environment that might not otherwise be forthcoming.
