Racquetball

Programs, often offered by local athletic clubs or Y facilities, that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy racquetball, a sport similar to handball in which players use a short-handled racket to hit a ball against an indoor or outdoor four-walled court. The program may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in racquetball competitions which generally include men's and women's singles and doubles and mixed doubles events as well as junior events.
