Ramadan Programs

Programs that sponsor social gatherings and other activities, provide food or other forms of assistance that enable people to observe and celebrate Ramadan, the ninth month in the lunar calendar during which Muslims abstain from food and drink during daylight hours. Assistance may also include food baskets or community meals to break the fast with iftar in the evening, or Eid al-Fitr celebrations that mark the end of the fasting period.
