Residential Parking Permits

Programs that issue placards, special bumper stickers or other insignias which enable people who live in posted areas to park their personal vehicles on the streets during controlled hours. Individuals with permits must still obey all other parking restrictions (e.g., red curb zones or street cleaning restrictions). Residential permit parking limits outside parking in residential neighborhoods that are impacted by parking demand generated by nearby businesses, schools, hospitals and other similar sources. Short term visitor's permits may also be available for guests of residents.
