Description
Provides family consultation for parent or guardian of child in Apex autism services up to 8 hours a month. Provides parent training embedded with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is an approach designed to equip parents with practical skills and strategies to enhance their parenting abilities. ACT is a mindfulness-based therapeutic approach rooted in ABA that focuses on acceptance, mindfulness, and commitment to behavior change.
